I would like to take this opportunity to invite your jazz ensembles to participate in the 3^rd  Annual Contraband Days Jazz Festival, May 1^st, 2010. All Middle School, High School and College Jazz Ensembles and Combos are welcome to participate in this fun outdoor festival. Your entry fee also pays for you and your students to attend Contraband Days, Louisiana’s 2^nd largest festival, with fantastic attractions, concerts and carnival.

 

This year the Contraband Days Jazz Festival will be held indoors at the Rosa Hart Theater at the Lake Charles Civic Center in the morning. This leaves the rest of the day open to enjoy Contraband Days. The entry fee is $150. Please e-mail me if you are interested so we can get an idea of how many bands to prepare for. Festival application is available for download here on the LAJE website.
